Shorter

Hello,

Sorry i didn't budget my email time to wisely so this letter has the potential to be shorter.

Okay so week 2 in Loa. it's fun things are slow we are working on finding more people to teach. I'm betting this week things will pick up lot's more for Elder Lora and me. We have had some really good experiences though and the members here who help us find people are awesome. Wayne County has very good looking scenic everything. there is red rock and mountains everywhere. The drive to Hanksville is amazing. when i'm not in the Boonies i'll have lots of pictures to send

The was an unfortunate accident this week though. it wasn't all good. Elder Lora broke the D string on my Uke... the only one a didn't have a replacment for. don't worry new ones are on the way.

One really great experience happened this week i want to tell you about. We have been teaching this family where the Father is a nomember. He was going to join the Church about four years ago. He wasn't able to however caus his family had some slight trouble with the law nothing serious but enough to put his wife and him on probation for 4 whole years. They say the Policman was having a bad day cause how it was explained to Elder Lora and I it didn't seem very serious. Anyways because so he wasn't able to be Baptized. He almost decided to say that's it and never join. He didn't however he goes to Church every sunday with hos family and he even has a calling! He works in the Library. He has a strong testimony and knows this Church is true that's why he never fell away even though he is a nonmember. Elder Lora and me called Mission President and told him the situation. President agreed it wasn't to serious only a misdimeanor. He told us teach him the lessons again and President Leonard or one of his councilers will interview him when we're done.

The Father Cal is his name is on date for December 4th. after waiting more then 3 years he'll be able to be Baptized. Heavenly Father has prepared him and he and his wife now have a temple goal. One year and they want to be there. It;s been amazing teaching him his family is amazing i love them all. Cal is getting bapized the same day as his 8 year old daughter and Cal asked me to baptize him. Heavenly Father always has a way to make things work out. Elder Lora and i are in Loa for a reason. This place is special

The Church is True
