Cereal Sale

Hello,

Oh man it's hot! I'm not made for this heat. Thankfully Sister Pickette graciously cut the sleeves off my long sleeve shirts so things have cooled down a little. Today Elder Curlee and I are excited for a Cereal sale. We have become avid cupon clippers to save a buck and it's paying off. We have one that's for 10 bucks off cereal when you buy 10 boxes. We did the math and that equals out to 1.50 per box times 10 is 11.50. That 5 boxes for Elder Curlee and 5 for me. happy days. I really hope someone else out there finds this as exciting as me.

Exciting this week Clarke's birthday. Happy birthday Big Brother Love you a ton!

We had a pretty neat miricle this week. We were walking down main street to go grab a bite to eat and it started raining. after walking a short ways a guy named chris pulled over and said those words every Elder loves to hear "Elders want a ride?" Off course we did cause it was raining and we felt like walking instead of driving that day and it would seem that turned out to be the wrong decision to walk instead of drive. He drives us to our food choice destionation of the day and as we pull up he asks us if we want to come to the private school with him to participate in a class he was teaching. He was teaching a class called Man Skills at this private school. It's not one of those fancy schools from the vibe I got from the students it's for troubled kids or ones that fall behind. He said he would be teaching some kids to make breadsticks and asked if we would like to come. We decided it would be fun and good to be around some new people in a defferent scenario that most missionaries get to go to. We got there and started meeting some of the kids. They are from all over the states and even one kid was from Egypt. For some reason I get extremely relived to meet people who are not from Utah and have never really been around LDS people before. I met a lady from Little Rock Arkansas a couple months back and that made my whole week cause we were able to teach her for a couple minutes. I like the Locals but it's always nice to meet a new type. Anyways we had a great time cooking with them and after we were able to share a short lesson on our missionary purpose. The had lots of questions and were actually interested! We invited them to come play soccer with us today and they seemed pretty excited. Chris said he would give them a ride and so we should see them later on today. We are going to start teaching as many who will listen.

That was a fun miracle and one I was thankful for. We have to teach when we find and find when we teach. It's a great life here lots of awesome people to teach kids adults and everything inbetween. Elder Curlee is the man we get along great and we are begging President to keep us together.
